Arkansas Blues

The purpose of this blog will be to document my thoughts and opinions on current events from a leftist social, political, and economic perspective. I used to publish under the blog title "Cadron Valley Chronicle" after an area near my hometown of Conway, Arkansas. That blog published pieces from a libertarian perspective that wasn't clearly distinguished as left or right politically. I have since come to take leftist politics more seriously and now firmly hold leftist and progressive political ideas and beliefs. I would consider myself a democratic socialist or simply a socialist. However, given the current state of politics in America, I would very likely vote for a straight Democratic ticket regardless of any differences in my personal beliefs from candidates.
